Bud Kolquist is the founding partner of the firm and has over 40 years of public accounting experience. He practices in the auditing, tax and management consulting arenas with emphasis in the construction industry and its affiliated businesses. He also works with various professionals such as lawyers, physicians, dentists, veterinarians, etc. Bud graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. Bud is also a member and past director of the Arrowhead Estate Planning Council. His various civic activities within the community include his role as Trustee and officer of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, past director and officer of the Lighthouse for the Blind, past director and officer of Northland Country Club, and past board member and officer of the Duluth Builder's Exchange.
